Clarity has transparent and competitive pricing with zero account fees, no transaction fees and no broker’s commission. Every time you trade, our fee is automatically priced into the spread (up to 0.2%). Spread is the difference between the sell and buy price, where the transaction is actually executed. If you trade on margin, we also have margin rates (for local ZAR Margin trading at +2% long and -1.5% short; and internationally at +2% long or -2% short). Yes. Clarity provides exposure to shares and index funds in all the major stock markets of the world, in North America, Europe, Asia and elsewhere. Our list of global markets expands regularly.
Yes. Because you invest in underlying assets using CFDs, you can buy portions of shares. For example, if a share is priced at R100 you can invest R50 – that will give you half a share, or 50%. These calculations are done automatically and you can simply transact using the amount you have available, or select the number of complete shares you require.
We have over 700 shares and funds available on the platform with more being added regularly. To find a share, you can search for it from your dashboard or app. Should an instrument that you are interested in not be available, you can request for it to be added via our chat function.
Yes. Clarity is a trading and investing platform and is built to execute trades. However, we have instant currency conversion between ZAR and USD, and investors can earn competitive rates on the cash balances in their overnight savings accounts in both currencies. Money can be saved in USD or Rands.
